Chinese Language Classes
| THE MANDARIN CLASSES
The Mandarin Classes are among Klintiendharm Foundation's various activities and projects that aim at fostering togetherness and mutual co-operation between students and Foundation staff and volunteers; this in the true spirit of Buddhist caring and sharing. Apart from learning Mandarin, we hope that in time the students will also assist and support us in some of our other activities. Our teacher is none other than Arjan Santad Prachyapruang. He has many years of teaching experiences in various languages, including English and Thai.
Arjan Santad Prachyapruang The book we choose to work from is "Speak Mandarin in 500 words". It is written in Chinese and Thai alternately and published by the "Overseas Chinese Library". Students can buy it from our book counter. It costs a mere 100 baht. The coming semester, starting April the 2nd 2002, will see two classes: one will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 19.00 to 21.00 p.m. The other class, to be given once a week on Sunday nights will run between 19.00 and 21.00 p.m. as the other. There will be a future announcement as to its starting date.
